Thank You For Your Faithfulness!

It is not the plan of God to rain down means from heaven in order that His cause may be sustained.  He has entrusted, or deposited, ample means with men, that there shall be no lack in any department of His work.  He proves those who profess to love Him by placing means in their hands, and then tries them to see if they love the gift better than the Giver.  Testimonies Volume 2, page 659

“… every effort that tends to the formation of a Christlike character, is laying up treasure in heaven.  Where the treasure is, there the heart will be.  In every effort to benefit others, we benefit ourselves.  He who gives money or time for spreading the gospel enlists his own interest and prayers for the work, and for the souls to be reached through it; his affections go out to others, and he is stimulated to greater devotion to God, that he may be enabled to do them the greatest good.” Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing pg 90

Why     Because the people of Malawi as here in America Need Jesus, They also need assistance with food clothes and medical support because of the extreme poverty conditions they live under.

How  Through a collaborative effort between Elder Lucious Brown, Pastor Hawkins Soko and the evangelistic team and the Central Malawi Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

In describing His earthly mission, Jesus said, The Lord "hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." Luke 4:18. “This was His work. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by Satan. There were whole villages where there was not a moan of sickness in any house, for He had passed through them and healed all their sick. His work gave evidence of His divine anointing.

Love, mercy, and compassion were revealed in every act of His life; His heart went out in tender sympathy to the children of men.” … “His life was one of self-denial and thoughtful care for others. Every soul was precious in His eyes. While He ever bore Himself with divine dignity, He bowed with the tenderest regard to every member of the family of God.”…“In all men He saw fallen souls whom it was His mission to save. Such is the character of Christ as revealed in His life. This is the character of God. It is from the Father's heart that the streams of divine compassion, manifest in Christ, flow out to the children of men.

The Holy Spirit has transferred from the heart of God that same divine compassion and has inspired me to take food clothes and medical aid to Lilongwe, Malawi, but most importantly to preach the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ to the residents of that city.

I invite you to support this mission in the following manner: Poverty and AIDS in Lilongwe, Malawi

The epidemic of disease and death among the children in Malawi is heart-breaking. The main causes are a deadly combination of chronic poverty, poor weather, and bad harvest, a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS and an outbreak of cholera. Malawi has an extremely high prevalence of HIV/AIDS, which affects an estimated 16% of people aged 15 to 49 and accounts for about 70% of hospital deaths.

Nearly  a  million children are so-called AIDS orphans which is half of all orphans. Many are now cared for by relatives who are already under economic hardships.

HIV/AIDS affects millions of people, including 83,000 children. Nearly a third of infected mothers pass the virus
to their babies.

Half of Malawi’s millions of orphans have lost one or both parents to AIDS. In 2004 only 4,000 people were receiving anti-retroviral drugs. A year later this had increased to only 33,000. The need is dire especially in Lilongwe.

Please give today to advance the cause of Christ.
